ClickBox_Logo Identity Creative Process

Design Brief:

Click Box is a product/service owned and developed by Web Studios UK. The services of Click Box are to provide businesses to implement online customer ordering system for the business. Click Box provides the business with a with a full set up of software and printer to get the service of online ordering started.

The approach was to create a simple iconic logo which reflected the company as Modern, Technical and Dynamic.

The challenge was to avoid the clichéd concept of having a 4 sided geometrical ‘box’ as to illustrate ‘box’ in the client’s company name. The challenge was to think more outside of that ‘box’.

Initial Concept Sketching:

Quick Brainstorming to generate pathways for idea development

Settling for the final concept

Final Logo Identity:
ClickBox Final Logo Identity

Firstly the choice of font was a very modernistic font which has good curves and linear structure. The font also has a ‘box’ feel to it because of its geometrical shape and form. It also looks very clean and sophisticated and technical.

The concept was the letter ‘O’ in the word ‘box’ would be simply represent a printer, printing out the online order/receipt from the customer. A computer arrow is pressing against the letter “O” also reflecting the online ordering at the push of a button. The arrow is pixilated to portray ‘Online’ and ‘Digital’. The logo simply illustrates the service of online ordering at the click of a mouse to the final printed received receipt for the business.

The logo has an icon which can work as a standalone icon for graphic purposes such as merchandise prints and printing on hardware such as computers, printers, mouse mats and anything else for that matter. The logo also works well in monotone black and white as well which increases its versatility
